Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island are known for their beauty and many visitors flock to the area every year to visit Acadia National Park. If you have the time, we encourage you to check out the National Park and the beautiful scenery. If you enjoy hiking, there are also some great hikes of different difficulties in the park. Other fun options would be to go on a sail with the Downeast Windjammers, explore the cute shops in downtown Bar Harbor, go on a kayaking tour with Coastal Kayaking or take a spin on an Oli's Trolley!

If you are flying in from out of state we recommend renting a car. Uber, Lift and other ride shares are not available on Mount Desert Island/Bar Harbor.
